Kristy Ambrose studied education and psychology at Murdoch University between 1999 and 2003 and graduated at the end of 2003 with a Bachelor of Education (Primary). She has taught in WA schools from 2004 to 2010, mostly in the Eastern Goldfields SHS ESU and has completed qualifications with The Coaching Institute in Melbourne in Coaching, NLP and Meta Dynamics.
Growing up with dyslexia and having personal experience with a learning difficulty has made Kristy passionate about helping children to move past difficulties that they are having at school, at home, academically, emotionally and socially to build resilience, confidence and to live to their greatest potential.
Kristy set up Skillz4Kids as a means to help both teachers and parents to help children by applying skills that she mastered as a teacher and a life coach. By providing teachers and parents with these tools and skills which can be easily applied both in the home and in the classroom it is possible to make a difference.
